Tim Fisher Leisure Painter Author and Editorial Consultant



Tim has been writing articles for the Leisure Painter magazine for over 20 years and in October 2019 was welcomed to the Leisure Painter editorial panel.
This is made up of experienced professional artists, who advise the editorial team on all technical aspects of painting and drawing. They offer support and guidance on new directions and ideas for the magazine.

In March 2025 the Leisure Painter & the Artist magazine have combined to create a bumper publication. Full of tips, articles and painting projects to create ideas and artistic inspiration.


Tim has been teaching Leisure Painter readers to draw and paint successfully for many years, using a wide range of media, styles and techniques.

He regularly hosts live online painting webinars for Painters Online.


There is a comprehensive website PaintersOnline which features the PaintersOnline Studio, here you can see Tim in action as a video artist, in a variety of mediums.
