Tim is a leading artist, author and popular art tutor. Born in Leicestershire, England he became a professional in 2000, following a successful career in research for an international US company.
The industry regarded Tim as a highly creative person, he currently holds two worldwide patents.

Since the launch of his career Tim has won numerous awards for his art.
He was a finalist in the Daily Mail "Not the Turner Prize" award and had his pastel painting "Pink Hydrangeas" displayed in the Mall Gallery, London


Approaching his paintings like a researcher, Tim works with the heart of a purist and the mind of a realist. Whenever possible he collects his own reference material by observation, field sketches and photography.

His work is displayed in public, private and corporate situations throughout the world.

His ability to have empathy with his students has left him in popular demand with art societies for regular demonstrations and workshops where he is repeatedly asked back.
Tim tutors art holidays in the UK, 2018 sees him in Essex at the
Watershed Studio and in Derbyshire at the Old House Studio.
A new venue is already booked for April 2019 in North Norfolk for
Big Sky Art Courses.

Tim is also a regular contributor to painting articles in the Leisure Painter magazine.
His paintings have several times graced the front cover of this highly popular art magazine.

He is also a successful author with two books in print by Search Press
" How to Paint Flowers in Acrylic"
"Perspective"
This year sees him writing a third book for Search Press, "Oil Pastels" which will be due for publication towards the end of 2018.

Tim also developed the highly popular Fisher400 art paper which is now distributed by a US company
ProArt Panels, who now supply Jacksons Art Supplies
This art surface is unique as having the properties to be used to create paintings in soft pastel, oil pastel, mixed media, coloured pencil, acrylic… the choices are endless.
