He was a finalist in the Daily Mail "Not the Turner Prize" award, short listed from 12,000 entrants and had his pastel painting "Pink Hydrangeas" displayed in the Mall Gallery, London

Approaching his paintings like a researcher, Tim works with the heart of a purist and the mind of a realist. Whenever possible he collects his own reference material by observation, field sketches and photography
He loves the "language of line" and the ability to very rapidly sketch the scene en Plein air. This proves very useful when sketching outdoors when the weather proves inclement. The oil painting "The Melton Millennium Meet" is displayed in the Carnegie Museum, Melton Mowbray and is featured with 38,00 paintings of the UK`s national collection on the
Art UK website

His ability to have empathy with his students has left him in popular demand with art societies for regular demonstrations and workshops where he is repeatedly asked back.

Watershed Studio and in Derbyshire at the Old House Studio.
